Description
This Workshop Original started with the project of refreshing my popular Pearl Collection.
I knew I wanted to do something a little different to launch my new collection whilst celebrating the original Louy Magroos pieces that people still love 15 years on.
The result is this chunky oxidised silver dome, with the pearl sitting inside it. A beaded silver loop adds another layer of detail, while the substantial belcher chain gives the whole piece a bit more weight and presence.
I love the contrast between the soft, natural shape of the pearl and the dark, graphic lines of the silver. It's a combination that feels classic and modern at the same time, and very much at home alongside the geometric jewellery I love to make.
As always, I've made only one.
