This month’s Workshop Original began with a feeling rather than a plan.
February felt grey, so I reached for colour.
The moment I picked up this Amazonite, I knew it was the one. Its bright turquoise blue feels like clear water and open skies. Calm, bright and quietly hopeful.
The setting has been entirely handmade in my workshop. Added sunburst engraved lines, asymmetrical proportions and subtle Art Deco influence keep it timeless and wearable, while allowing the gemstone to remain the focus.
There is something grounding about Amazonite. Something steady. It doesn’t shout for attention, but it draws you in.
This is what I love about creating Workshop Originals. No mass production. No replicas. Just one carefully made piece, designed slowly and intentionally.
I have made only one.
