Each freshwater pearl is set within my signature domed sterling silver setting, carefully oxidised by hand to achieve its rich charcoal-black finish. The darkened silver enhances the natural glow of the pearl, creating a simple yet distinctive design inspired by the elegance and geometry of the Art Deco era.
These earrings were created after customers repeatedly asked for a hook version of my popular pearl stud earrings. I wanted to keep the clean, minimalist style of the original while creating a slightly longer profile that's lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear throughout the day.
Every pair is handmade by me in small batches using traditional silversmithing techniques. I individually select each freshwater pearl for its natural beauty and unique character, meaning no two pairs are ever exactly alike. Those natural variations are part of what make handmade jewellery so special.
