I designed these Long Black Pearl Earrings to create a sleek, elegant silhouette without the movement of a traditional drop earring. Rather than hanging from a hook, the elongated sterling silver bar is secured with a comfortable stud fitting, allowing the design to sit beautifully against the ear while creating clean, architectural lines.

Each earring features a genuine 5mm freshwater pearl nestled within my signature domed sterling silver setting. The silver is carefully oxidised by hand to create a rich charcoal-black finish that contrasts beautifully with the natural lustre of the pearl. Inspired by the bold geometry of the Art Deco era, the result is a contemporary design that feels both timeless and distinctive.

Every pair is handmade by me in small batches using traditional silversmithing techniques. I carefully select each freshwater pearl for its natural beauty and unique character before setting it by hand. Because pearls are naturally formed, no two pairs are ever exactly alike, making every pair subtly unique.

The long sterling silver bar measures approximately 30mm, creating an elegant vertical line that flatters the wearer without feeling oversized.
