How to measure ring size UK at home

All of my rings are made using UK sizing, this runs from A (the smallest) to Z+6 (the largest). If the size you require is not listed on the product page then please do get in touch so I can check whether I can make the ring in your requested size. I offer half sizing also, and if you need help converting a US size then all you need to do is ask or use the chart below.

There are a few things to keep in mind when finding your size.

+    Your fingers can be different sizes at different times of the day and also vary a lot depending on if you are hot or cold.

+    Be aware if your fingers are swollen in the heat or cold when getting measured.

+    Wider rings need to be in a larger size than skinny rings. And if you intend on stacking rings together then again, a larger size may be required.

+    Your finger shape can have an impact of the fit of a ring, keep in mind the fit over knuckles and that a top-heavy ring will spin round if you have a thinner base to your fingers.

I understand that it is not always possible to get the perfect fit when buying online, that is why I offer a single resize with every order if it is needed, all you need to do is cover the postage back to me.

The best way to find your ring size is to use a ring sizer, I sell a reusable ring sizer (click below), also take a look at my blog post that covers the different ways to find a ring size.

Necklace lengths

The way you like a necklace to fit or sit along the neckline is a very personal choice, which is why I will always offer a range of chain lengths on most of my necklaces and pendants. If you would like to discuss a shorter or longer chain length then all you need to do is to send me a message here, tell me the design you are interested in and the length of chain you require.

Again I will resize or replace if you order the wrong length no problem at all, postal charges apply.

Getting measured

Below is a rough guide to show you how different lengths will sit, but these may vary depending on your body shape. You can always measure an existing necklace you like the length of, or use some string or ribbon to hold loosely against your neckline to the size you like, mark it, and measure the length out flat using a ruler or tape measure.

Bracelet lengths

Similar to a necklace this is very much a personal choice. I offer a Petite 17cm, Medium 18.5cm and Large 21cm. However as my jewellery is handmade it is possible to request a certain size if you require. Send me a message here and we can discuss your requirements.

Again you can measure and existing bracelet, or use string or ribbon to measure around the wrist, mark, and measure out flat using a ruler.

I understand that it is not always possible to get it right first time online so I will issue a single resize or replacement if you order the wrong length no problem at all, postal charges apply.

Bangle sizing

My bangles come in the standard sizes Petite 5.7cm, Medium 6cm, and Large 6.5cm, however I am always happy to discuss a custom size so please do get in touch with your requirements.

I understand that it is not always possible to get it right first time online so I will issue a single resize or replacement if you order the wrong length no problem at all, postal charges apply.

How to measure your bangle size

Getting measured

Bangles are a little trickier to size than bracelets because you need to make sure there is enough room for your hand to fit through without opening them up.

The best way to measure your size is using an existing bangle. You need to measure the inside diameter of the bangle, do not include the thickness of the metal, just the inside space.

To measure yourself, place your thumb on top of your little finger, and measure from knuckle to knuckle (the widest part of you hand). This is the inside diameter of the bangle you will be able to get on and off comfortably.
