My Week As A Jeweller #11

Well, it's still HOT, which almost never happens in the UK!

Normally two weeks of summer is only possible for us Brits if we go abroad, so I have had a quiet sort of week on the jewellery front. Seems to me people are spending their money on paddling pools and instead of internet shopping we are dusting off the BBQ's and enjoying the garden. And honestly, this has suited me just fine! Soldering, hammering, filing and general hard work are not top of the 100-Greast-things-to-do-in-30º-heat, but like the everyday hero I am I struggled on and made some Bridesmaid gifts...

Personalise an old favourite...

and stock up on some earrings for Christmas, (yes I'm already thinking about Christmas)...

We played lots of fetch in the park with Bruce; see how much he loves his ball by clicking the video link below...

Bruce loves his little red ball

And cooled down in the shade...

I ordered a new pendant motor drill, and was a little disappointed when I got a pack of wax carving files instead...

My Deco Pearl Solitaire Ring was launched in two new colours and are proving to be very popular...

The weekend was spent like everyone else, with a BBQ and enjoying the sunshine!

My sisters dog Tonka turned 9 so Bruce sent a card (obviously)

and Tonka opened it (of course)

And then I taught Bruce how to ride a bike...

I need to get out more, I know!!
