My Week As A Jeweller #2

It’s Tuesday afternoon and I have kept my promise, so far so good, so lets see what I got up to this week…

It seems a distant memory with the rain and hail today but last Monday was the HOTTEST bank holiday we have had in a long long time so we spent it in the garden. This is my big sister Helen, she didn't really get the gardening genes from my Mum so I have been teaching her and Bruce to plant seeds. We are having a SUNFLOWER GROWING COMPETITION, it's very competitive between me, Helen, Mike and Bruce... shame I always forget to water theirs :-)

I find stringing pearls quite relaxing once you get into the swing of it, so it is always nice to sit down with a cup of tea and make up some of these Deco Pearl Necklaces.

I had to send 12 rings to Not On The High Street to be photographed as part of their shortlist for the Make Awards…

Handmade silver pearl rings

I bought some new Peacock Pearls so I sent in a mixture of these beautiful purple/blue/green pearls along with the original white pearls, I can't wait to see the photos. Here they are all packaged up and ready to go...

Lots of personalised orders going out as always...

Personalised cufflinks

Fathers Day is creeping up so I am stocking up as and when I can as it is always a little crazy...

This weekend was a bit of a wash out but we made the most of it and went on a lovely walk along the Canals in Lapworth...

Can you spot Bruce? He is the little dot running off on an adventure, an adventure that wore him out and resulted in a quiet Sunday night with the little fella...

If only he was always that cute and quiet :-)

Have a good week everyone x
